If you are applying for positions, but are not getting interviews, then perhaps it has to do with your resume and/or cover letter. Try changing your resume and cover letter to a different style. Perhaps have someone else look it over. There are lots of helpful books and people. Take a new and different approach. Make sure you show all your strengths and experience. Be sure to carefully read the job description to which you are applying.

If you are successful in getting interviews, but not the position, then you probably need a brush up on interview skills and how best to present yourself. Start out by finding out why you were not successful in obtaining the position interviewed for. Work on any weaknesses and make any other changes suggested.

They say it's a full time job just looking for a full time job. If a job means that much to you and you really want to work, then be prepared to put a lot of effort into your search. There are jobs out there, but you may have to look real hard sometimes.

If you are well prepared, have the right attitude and techniques, you will be successful.
